FAQ / Help
If you have a question that isn’t addressed below, please share that with us so we can assist you. You can call the Education Justice Program Hotline at (314) 256-8789 or email us at ejp@lsem.org.
I wasn't prompted to add the EdRights App to my home screen. How do I make that happen?
Click here to see a list of compatible devices and browsers and how to add the EdRights App to each.
Is this a website or an app?
This is a Progressive Web App, or PWA. PWAs are web applications that load like regular web pages or websites but can offer the user functionality such as working offline, push notifications, and device hardware access traditionally available only to native applications.
I want to share the EdRights App with someone. How do I do that?
Using the App Store or the Google Play Store is not necessary. Simply send them this link: https://edrights.lsem.org. That’s all!
What are Push Notifications?
Push notifications are automated messages sent by an application to a user when the application is not open.
How can I subscribe (or unsubscribe) to EdRights App notifications?
While you may not have been prompted by your phone or tablet to allow push notifications, you can turn them on manually. Simply tap the bell icon in the lower right corner of the screen. (To unsubscribe, tap the icon again and choose Unsubscribe.)
If you’re unfamiliar, subscribing to push notifications will allow us to send messages to you about updates to your education rights, additional functionality to the app, etc.
NOTE: Apple does not (yet) allow Push Notifications to be sent on Apple phones coming from websites.
